That in our country, with all the regulations, laws and rules that we citizens (rightly) have to comply with, the government simply decrees over the weekend that all those who rely on deadlines, promises, regulations, etc. have to experience that they can no longer expect any support. The moral bankruptcy, in my opinion, lies in the lack of trustworthiness, in the lack of reliability, but that is only my personal opinion and I do not hold it against anyone if they see it differently.
That is not true in this totality. No one knows what the new programs will look like. This has less to do with morality than with fiscal policy requirements. Also, a large part of the climate goals for construction and renovation come from the EU and not from Habek's wishlist for his office. The previous government made quite a lot of mess to avoid alienating voters and entrepreneurs. This was an emergency brake. The goals set by the EU were no longer achievable and the old programs misallocated resources, so that the climate targets did not even remotely come close. It is shitty, but ultimately many have long been deluded into thinking that building is feasible for every young family. But the benefits did not go to the families, primarily to the companies. And it created the dubious industry of energy consultants. I reserve moral failure as an accusation for the CSU and their mask deals worth millions, which are not even sanctionable due to legal tricks.
151, as mentioned, is the old EBS funding that could be applied for until 06.21 and was replaced from 07.21 by BEG WG. So, two completely different things.
But until now, no one has been able to tell me for sure whether the repayment grant still exists. Construction measures have not yet been completed, accordingly this "confirmation after completion" has not yet been filled out by the energy consultant and sent to the KfW.
So, those who have a COMMITMENT may please step out of the panic train. In my opinion, there is absolutely no question that approved applications will no longer be implemented.
It is clear that no new applications will be accepted. It is unclear what will happen to those received but not yet approved. And unfortunately, that means waiting. However, I would not assess the chance that they will still be approved as low.
Correct, I just had a longer conversation with a KfW employee. Applications already approved are not affected by the stop. Since many applicants have asked in the meantime whether the stop affects everyone, including the already approved applications, and this was not communicated clearly, this is to be clarified.
A family with a lower net income might be more able to afford the property from 1970 that still needs a lot of work but that one might be able to buy for 299k.
The old owners of these unrenovated energy guzzlers are the ones who deserve government requirements instead of government subsidies. Then there might finally be some movement again on the supply side of the used property market. Of course, it takes a lot of political courage to take on the large voting clientele of silver agers and baby boomers residing there - that’s clear.
