If the house construction fails because of a €32k subsidy, you shouldn't build anyway or should adjust the planning to the creditworthiness.

We signed our financing on Thursday. We already had an application confirmation in November. However, the bank delayed so many things that we could only sign now and the advisor had my signature on Thursday. Now we received a call that apparently there will be no financing for us after all. That is just so bad and I wonder if you have no rights at all?! As if building wasn't expensive enough already?! As I understand it, both the financing with the low interest rate and the subsidy will be stopped or canceled, right?

I am so glad that we applied for the whole thing at the beginning of January and received the approval immediately. Really harsh if you wanted to submit it now.

The financing was correctly signed on Thursday at the Commerzbank. Now the bank advisor says he submitted everything on Thursday but did not receive approval and assumes that the financing is therefore no longer valid.

I submitted my application yesterday around 7 p.m. and have not received a response. My neighbor submitted his application for the other semi-detached house 3 hours earlier and immediately received confirmation.

After I submitted the application, I received this message: You can start now as well – but we recommend that you wait for our decision.

Does this mean that the application would still be approved?

That does not sound like it has been approved. Rather, the receipt of the application has been confirmed.
