It seems like no one really knows how it will be distributed (let's hope our minister knows :rolleyes:).

Nevertheless, it seems that there is no additional fund with an extra billion just for new buildings. This means the longer the start of the funding program for new buildings is delayed, the less money will be available for new buildings...

Well, there are two official statements on the topic: 1. 1 billion for EH40(+) new buildings 2. 9.5 billion has been approved for the KfW

In my opinion, you can already read out the scenario I described. A total of 9.5 billion for everything, but 1 billion of it only for new building funding.

For the budget it is one pot, but for the KfW it is two.

Hopefully you are right, I just read it again, Habeck actually spoke of 1 billion for the new construction. Although that somewhat conflicts with the also plausible calculation by Ysop***, but let's be honest, who really counts their billions precisely ;)...

Now just keep the grant option as with the renovations and everything should have gone smoothly, at least for those who are already further along in their house planning...

Hello everyone,

I was probably lucky and submitted my application one day before the stop, which according to the grant portal for the 461 also shows "grant application approved."

Now my developer wants a "confirmation" from KfW. I would have also expected to receive something more formal than an entry in a web portal given the amount... KfW has been silent to my inquiries since the end of January.

Question to you: Does a formal confirmation usually come with the BEG 461, or is the status in the grant portal all there is?

The application confirmation can be downloaded as a PDF from the grant portal. The FAQ of the grant portal also states that no postal delivery takes place.

Thanks for the quick response. Of course, I saw the PDF, but the introduction begins with "we are pleased to confirm receipt of your application."

This is now somewhat pedantic, since the acceptance only takes place later, but it is more of an acknowledgment of receipt than a "confirmation."

Thanks anyway, it definitely reassures me :D
