I understand that Mr. Habeck should currently have more important things to do, but now there really hasn’t been anything to read on the topic for a very long time (not even online). Does anyone know more?

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick update. We had planned to sign the contracts for a kfw40EE house at the end of January. On the mentioned Monday, the call came from the builder asking if I had already heard...

Anyway, there were many voices at the time advising to wait until the new subsidy comes. Luckily, we did not listen to that and signed finally a few weeks later with financing without kfw. We are back to the 55 standard. That was the best decision. The builder called me recently. Costs have now increased, +6% for all new contracts. That would have meant +30,000 EUR for us. My bank advisor told me recently that if we had only agreed on the loan contract now, our interest rate would be 0.6% higher.

What I actually want to say is, I hope others have not waited either, because the price increases now would not even remotely be recovered by any future subsidy.

Regards.

We did it the same way. Secured the interest rates within the same week, which have now risen significantly. Unlike you, however, we decided on a KfW 40 EE house. This way, we are well prepared for the future and any legal regulations (such as a tax on "lower standards").

Well, I would slowly start to be happy again to hear at least something about it in the media. This complete silence for such a long time about the topic is somehow strange again and makes me feel a bit queasy...

I can imagine that the Ministry of Economic Affairs has currently prioritized the Putin war topics. So sanctions, energy supply, energy costs, etc. EH40 as a topic may have been pushed to the background. But that is just a guess on my part.
