Thank you for your words! This has been on the tip of my tongue for 50 pages here in the thread. The people, in their delusion for the subsidy, have simply forgotten the simplest principles of economic efficiency. Even if you calculate the electricity price for the heat pump at 50 cents, this whole energy saving madness only pays off quite late.

I even assume that by the time all the technical stuff has paid off, it will either be broken or its maximum lifetime is approaching, or it will technically already be outdated anyway.

I don't really agree with it, but thousands will now handle it that way...

Am I mistaken, or would it now be the decision of the FDP-led Ministry of Finance to top up the missing funds? Everyone is currently attacking the Greens, but in the end, the ministries have to manage with the allocated funds? No arms, no cookies problem?

One could do that, but why should the Ministry of Finance provide additional funds if other ministries cannot manage their money properly? That would surely open the floodgates for other ministries to simply spend money beyond their budget.

Understood. But in this case, you can't blame Habek for that.
The run was triggered by his predecessor. Habek only acted fiscally correctly, and only the Finance Ministry would have the funds and the power to increase the available amount to respond to the increased demand. Or am I misunderstanding how funds are allocated to ministries in Germany? You also can't just internally reallocate money within other economic sectors of a ministry from committed projects, can you?

The only thing I keep my distance from!

Not true as it was marked OT...

But none of this gets us any further - by the way, I do not want to start a fundamental discussion, so we should return to the origin

Have we read anything new in the press?
