That was really pointless like nothing else. Either 100% or nothing at all. Then those weird application deadlines with the previous year and the year before that. At that time, there was no child yet and accordingly more income, now less income but there is no funding for that.

On the topic of Kfw: I didn’t even understand what the news meant at first. I thought it was always clear that all applications until 01/24 would still be processed. Cancelling something like that without any warning is really at the level of a banana republic. The state wants everything in writing and takes 6 months to review but themselves cut funding without any deadline. As if building wasn’t expensive enough already. This won’t improve the higher homeownership rate.

If one of the two earners earns parental allowance for 12 months in the relevant period and the second earner for 2 months, then 14 of the 48 earning months are already set to zero. Then a few more advertising costs additionally, the bonus payment is unfortunately only paid by the employer next January and "if necessary" a few euros are just donated. Salary conversion also does not count. You can make a nice limbo under the limit, completely legal. And it would also be stupid, because one euro above the limit means losing 24k net without deductions

In Bavaria, the Baukindergeld Bavaria and 10,000 taler home ownership subsidy were added. It was an outrageously high subsidy, rightly abolished.

That was an election gift to the classic CSU clientele. Nothing else.

Tendentially not even until the end of February. Everyone now knows that the funding is limited. If I had something, I would submit it as soon as possible. Through the bank only if it is already approved, otherwise directly via the grant portal.

I am in favor of private builders getting their applications approved. Private households with an income under 100k are acceptable to me.

Why? There is no social entitlement to building energy efficiently....
