Which people receive Baukindergeld in Germany? The income limits are so ridiculously low that only people with enough "padding" from their parents get it. I consider it the worst tax waste ever, but OT.

You misunderstood me. Who can afford, self-finance and pay off a house with less than 120,000 zFE and 3 children, that's what I meant. Maybe possible in cheap federal states, but the majority are out of luck. And what I actually criticized was that you can have, for example, 5 children, NO INCOME AT ALL and receive 500k inheritance from mom and then still get money from the state. If you find that reasonable, you live "far from any reality" :)
