I found it!

Since I am not really politically active, please name a few now to whom it would be worthwhile to write in this case.

In this case, I would look at which committee is responsible for the topic of construction and write to the politicians who are members there. That is likely to be more effective than "your representative" or any bigwigs of certain parties.

I seriously wonder who should apply for this funding, it is now completely unattractive. We are building standard kfw55EE and would have had to pay 17.5k€ for insulation and about 6k€ for the larger controlled residential ventilation for kfw40EE. Altogether, that’s 23.5k€, which is 8.5k€ more that you would have to put on top because there is only 15k€ for kfw40EE. Prices have certainly also increased in the meantime. In addition, our savings bank does not accept an additional loan like the one from KFW, so we are out anyway without the grant option... Luckily, we already signed the house building contract in February.

Hello everyone,

I have been quietly reading along here in the forum for several months now. However, since we too hoped until the last moment for a subsidy for our EE40 house in the form of a grant, this is more than bitter and we would also like to have our say here. We started planning in 2019, then obtained the building permit in 2021, and finally the construction start at the end of this year. The bitter part was that we could only submit the application in the first week of February 2022 (wanted to), because until the last moment it was being discussed whether to install a gas heating system + solar thermal or a heat pump. No one could have guessed that the 40 program would be shut down immediately. Besides the price increases, which are another issue, we are now missing good €33,000 in funding for our family of four. That really hurts. really hurts. We believe that tone is important, and the way things have gone since 01/24/2022 should also be subject to legal review. We continue to hold the view that the government has committed serious breaches of equal treatment and trust. I recently also read some assessments from lawyers and an expert who definitely see room for attack regarding the approach of the federal government. Furthermore, we believe that the current regulation as of 04/20/2022 excludes many from the outset, as in the meantime they were practically forced to curb the galloping interest rates through loan agreements. So did we. In a construction project, no one can afford three months of standstill. We will now analyze all positions that have a significant cost impact and ask ourselves whether savings can be made in this way—regardless of any standard. For 40EE, we largely decided only because of the funding conditions that made these investments ROI-capable within our lifetime. Now better install the cheapest gas heating – without subsidies and dispose of it in five years and switch to a heat pump – then possibly with hefty subsidies. In our opinion, the government is currently constructing the climate situation into the "wrong alignment" this way. Our last night was also one of the worst ever, apart from the last three months... We can no longer take politics seriously, not to mention the lost trust when it comes to certain matters. We would like to express our sympathy to all like-minded people and at the same time declare our willingness to take action against this injustice.

And what do we do now against this injustice?

I understand your frustration, but sorry: You plan cheerfully for 2.5 years and suddenly the three months are so existential that you can't wait?

I understand the frustration, as I said, but everyone should remind themselves that it was a voluntary government grant program to achieve certain goals. Nothing more and nothing less...
