So be prepared that the watering can is now packed away and will not be taken out again. On the other hand, it looks like renovators will receive more funding - which also makes sense when you look at our stock.
I think some people have misunderstood something here. Or maybe I have – I don’t want to rule that out. The promotion of the KfW55 standard was not about creating living space or enabling building projects that would otherwise have been unaffordable for the builder. In my opinion, the goal was for houses that are going to be built anyway to meet a certain energy standard. The additional costs for this were offset or at least reduced by the subsidy. This minimum standard for funding is now KfW40 (with correspondingly higher subsidies). The sudden suspension of the funding is of course still extremely annoying for those affected!
I did not expect the new government to react so quickly and so abruptly, to put it neutrally.
The pots are empty, and that was foreseeable. Therefore, this is not a consequence of an abrupt reaction, but a logical consequence of a deliberately intended refusal to act. Anyone who dares to look beyond their own nose will notice that these are not the only funding pots that have run dry/are running dry.
How long does something like this usually take until there is clarity again? We are currently planning a 40EE and have already calculated with the amount :/
Will it come down to 40 becoming the standard and there being no more funding for it?
Construction is supposed to start in late summer...
