People have simply gotten used to the fact that there is funding that completely covers or even exceeds the actual additional costs. That is not an incentive but a giveaway. A complete misdevelopment and, moreover, an exploitation. Even the Energy Saving Ordinance for buildings or KFW55 already require very little energy. Every funding euro in new construction is wasted. The funding should exclusively relate to renovation when it comes to energy policy goals.

But as others have already written - it would have been desirable if investors and profit-oriented housing companies had not been eligible - or only under conditions that were truly focused on the housing shortage, especially for the middle and lower income groups. The last thing tax money should be wasted on is another project "Luxuswohnen Spitzingseechalet".

As one could read here today alone and also in recent weeks, many people (including those affected) have not understood at all what that meant --> no subsidy option. The FAZ also did not report on any consequences, EVERYONE only ever reported that the new construction funding program is being resumed and that loans can be used again. Please show me one that wrote otherwise.

Do we have a thread here that addresses this funding? I would be very interested to know what this certificate is all about (unfortunately, I don't understand the difference). What is different about KfW 40 compared to KfW 40 with a certificate?

On 27.01.2022 calculate, nothing will come of it. Or did you think of RTL exclusive or Brennpunkt special broadcasts?

A variety of criteria must be met. For example, whether building materials can be recycled (keyword composite materials), if it is built to be barrier-free, if floor plans are energy-efficient. So bye-bye air space and glass houses.
