Should we also have to pay for the electricity?
I know that in Germany we tend to have a full-coverage mentality, but this is really extreme

No, but not dismantling the oil heating at all and secretly using the heat pump for the indoor pool. That would be it.
At 33° flow temperature, it at least operates efficiently in the old building. ;)

I don't believe there is a pool there. If I remember correctly, dear Forsberg had a condominium for rent and there is rarely a pool in such cases. You can already write off the entire mess anyway, increase the rent thanks to the modernization surcharge, and the tenant pays the electricity for the heat pump. So 100% subsidized, but you can still call for other people’s tax money...

I SUSPECT there is a total of 9.5 billion and 1 billion of that is exclusively "reserved" for new builds EH40(Plus).
There was also speculation somewhere that the subsidy rates might be halved. That could roughly be enough for 60,000 applications.
We’re curious too. For now we are planning without the subsidy and if it does happen it’s a nice bonus.

I read the following yesterday after digging: originally 11.5 billion was provided, but over 20 billion was requested. How much they exceeded 20 billion was nowhere stated, but I suspect not too much, so that there would actually still be around 1 billion available for new applications.

It seems like no one really knows how it will be distributed (let's hope our minister knows ).

Nevertheless, it appears that there is no additional fund with an extra billion just for new buildings. This means the longer the start of the funding program for new buildings is delayed, the less money will be available for new buildings...

One might say, typical...
