Now that the shock has passed... shall we take a look into the crystal ball and discuss the next subsidy that will come?
First of all, significant tightening of the minimum requirements is coming; it has even been announced that this is being considered. The only question is whether KfW 55 or 40 will be the new minimum. Subsidies for new construction will then likely start close to Passive House standard. And a photovoltaic requirement will come. Subsidies for photovoltaics will then possibly only be given if it is particularly large, with storage, or if it is not mandatory in existing buildings.
I just don't understand who applies for this grant and when? Is signing the loan agreement enough as a quasi simultaneous application for the repayment grant, which the financing bank then automatically forwards to KfW?
You or your bank have already applied for and been approved for the grant before signing the loan agreement. When the project is completed, it also goes through your bank again, and the repayment grant is subsequently credited.

Subsidies for photovoltaics then possibly only if particularly large, with storage, or if not otherwise obligated in existing buildings.
Photovoltaic obligation for every modernization and new building?!?! What will be done with the listed old buildings where the roof is supposed to be renovated?

Does that mean that you are no longer allowed to build according to the current Building Energy Act but must build at least KfW 55 or 40? Do you have sources where I can read something about this? I really hope that our approved building permit will not also be subject to changes just because our house is being applied for during the year. For now, I still rely on "In building law, there is basically protection of existing rights for all buildings for which a valid building permit existed at the time of construction."
