That's great for some who are turning 55. I just want some clarity regarding the new regulations for the 40s or whatever else may come...

I am not sure if that means in the article that things will generally proceed again with 40 and renovations, i.e. new applications can be submitted again. Or if it only means that the open applications for that are being processed?

From the bedroom article "There is supposed to be a transitional regulation for citizens affected by the flooding disasters last summer. In addition, other groups should be given the opportunity to submit an application again for projects according to the KfW-55 standard for 14 days: builders of new single-family and two-family houses, companies that want to build social housing, projects for the construction of student and apprentice dormitories, as well as projects by municipalities and housing cooperatives."

As I understand it, the window will be opened again for all those who fall under these categories. But only the 55 standard.

I just read that too and it would actually be really cool for us as well. I really hope it's true because it would simply relieve us a lot.

You would certainly be the only ones. Not.

Savings of 20 to 50 TEUR are surely a relief for every builder, but this in-and-out-of-the-potatoes thing is getting annoying again.

I understood it differently. The entire article is about the 24,000 applications that were submitted but did not receive approval. There are 3 categories: - Renovations -> are approved - KFW 40 -> is approved - KFW 55 -> They have the possibility to apply again if they meet the additional criteria
