You are absolutely right there, we were incredibly naive! As I said, when signing, we had about a thousand things on our mind, but a) never that this subsidy no longer exists and b) that the house provider can/wants to get out of it again.
Today we read the condition with completely different eyes and it hits you in the face right at the first reading.
I would talk to the general contractor,
my goal would be to have the clause removed by mutual agreement and to leave the contract unaffected and build.

That is exactly what we are currently aiming for. Contact has already been made and I don’t want to rule it out either; they sound very cooperative on the other side (which, on the other hand, we cannot quite understand, which is why we somehow don’t entirely trust the whole thing).
