Regarding the new funding conditions: Is the amount of the repayment specified by the KfW? I seem to remember that it was tiered depending on the term/fixed interest period with the previous funding. Back then, there was the "Einliegertrick." Something like that should be pretty much obsolete with the pure loan variant, or am I missing something? It can only be funded once per credit framework. Theoretically, a second loan application would have to be submitted for a separate apartment?!

I read a few days ago that granny flats are no longer funded because they demonstrably do not create any additional, genuine living space.

For me, there were 2 KfW modules, each 120k with a repayment grant of 30k per module. It probably no longer makes sense at all now. For us, it was only worthwhile because of the building regulations and the associated floor plan anyway.

The reason I asked about the amount of the repayment is because we are currently considering taking out another loan due to the massive additional costs in the project. Before we let the bank impose a refinancing burden on us in the middle of the project, we'd rather take the probably currently better KfW interest rate and also take advantage of the subsidy. Then the garage would be possible again (don’t stone me for that) and the photovoltaics. With the latter, we would even achieve EE40+. Now the only question is how high the monthly installment will be.

I would think twice about it. There are favorable loans for the promotion of solar systems through the state banks and KFW. I also believe that something will still come in the summer package. With KFW, you also have to factor in energy consultants etc., with a high risk of not getting anything at all. KFW interest rates are now at 2.05%.

Thank you

Thanks for the hints. The interest rates have not been published yet, if I'm not mistaken. I have meanwhile read 3 or 4 statements from different platforms regarding the interest rate. Everything between 1.79 and now 2.05% was included :-D
I will look into other funding opportunities for photovoltaics. So far, it has been temporarily removed from the list or a family loan would have been up for discussion, but that now has to cover price increases.
