This is the old EBS funding. Existing commitments can still be used. This has nothing to do with the discontinuation of the current BEG funding.

Every subsidy, every grant distorts the market. Whether it is subsidies for electric cars or any KfW standards. It often makes products more expensive, creates bottlenecks or oversupplies.

In agriculture, there is a subsidy program until 2024 for agricultural machinery. Special machines like slurry technology or crop protection sprayers. 40 percent funding.
Who receives funding and who does not is decided by a lottery! Anyone can apply, then a lottery procedure is started.
The prices for new machines have exploded. The prices for used machines have collapsed. Purchases are only made after approved funding. 60 percent of all approved funding applications strangely went to Bavaria.
The delivery times for the machines are so long that it is no longer possible to get machines within the deadlines.

I learned from an installation company from Bavaria that they cannot complete 20 houses because there are currently no suitable heating systems available. I suspect delivery difficulties with heat pumps.
