I received my KFW 55 approval for a new single-family house last week. However, I have not yet signed the contract for work. Will I still get the subsidy if I sign a contract for work this week?

We will probably move into the new KfW-Efficiency House 55 EE (bungalow) in February. So far, the missing heat pump was the problem, but it should arrive shortly. We had no obligation for a photovoltaic system, yet a 13.68 kWp system is already running. In combination with a heat pump, this is a perfect decision. I planned the photovoltaic system largely by myself without much prior knowledge and organized the implementation. I stayed under 1,100 EUR/kWp. It works with a dose of realism and willpower.

Not really, we have now had the appointment with the bank. It's tough and would mean that our entire equity would be burned (well over €100,000).

Sorry, but then build without the €75k subsidy for 2 residential units. Then only KFW55 standard, you are down to €50k or something like that. Alternatively, pause house construction and wait for new funding, but then there is the risk of increasing requirements.

Yes, you have done everything correctly. The construction contract must generally not be signed before the approval.

If someone complains, it would speak against the decision-maker that the used system is not fair.
