It's not about subsidies, but loans. Those could only be applied for this morning. And ONLY online.

The funding should promote energy-efficient houses. Who forces the private household to have their huge house subsidized through government funding and to build only slightly better than the standard? It would be better if the funding excluded private households, only for public housing or overall renovation measures.

Not at all. New buildings are per se not "climate-friendly." But since KfW 55 will become the new legal standard, you have your answer to the question ;)

At least the following is stated on the website under Resumption of New Construction Funding:
"The offer is handled through the usual program structures of KfW and only the loan variant is offered. For municipalities, the option of postal application remains fully available."

Yes, public housing is something different. I completely agree with you here - it should be subsidized. However, I think that investors who build multi-family houses in pseudo KFW40 standard just "to make money" (norms are met on paper in the application but not in reality and no one checks this) should be excluded. Or.... condition... subsidy is credited to the purchase/rent price. Example: 8-unit house, apartments from 35m2 to 62m2 (all 2-room apartments). House built for 1.5 million (2021) with over 300k subsidies cashed in. Apartments were sold for 250k-320k... :mad:

I agree. Unfortunately, the opposite will be the case because single-family homes are the new scapegoat.
