What does such a lift-and-slide door cost more than a corresponding window element with two sashes and possibly a fixed part?

I think the general contractor can probably say that best. I guess at least 4000-5000 or more for that size range. At least that was the case for us in that area.

You wait what feels like an eternity, and then it’s not Santa Claus who shows up, but Hein Blöd. Ouch.

I am speechless. Eighteen square meters for a bathroom with a partition wall, and then the washing machine/dryer aren’t accommodated in there. Is the soil pipe of the master bathroom offset (or, better said here: jogged) in the ceiling? – I also don’t see any vents going through the roof membrane, but then what are the DD (downpipes) in the bathrooms on the upper floor for?

I would even go for folding sliding doors, but:

so that’s probably off the table in general.

Significantly more. I recommend aluminum; as drawn, it would also be possible with the usual GU plastic stuff.

There’s no desk there, so it doesn’t need any light from anywhere, so no.

That you would be summarily shot before the Feng Shui court anyway, but the main thing is lots of symmetry.

I never would have thought that a single pea princess could tire me out after just 770 posts. But you get older, and now neither Doornkaat nor Franzbranntwein helps anymore. Goodbye!

We like the frames on the 3m patio doors. My husband thinks it feels like a zoo with too wide glass panels. It’s a matter of taste.

2 bathrooms are simply a matter of taste. We want it that way. We can’t do without them because all four of us need to leave around the same time when the children go to school.

By the way, I don’t think it’s all that bad as you portrayed it. You’re exaggerating. I think it’s the best design so far.

What do you mean by that? Please explain again in simpler words. I don’t see an error there. The toilet has bd/dd marked and the offset is below in the utility room. Before your final departure, it would be great if you could briefly explain the issue to me.

Well, of course I don't want to leave the office door open. That's why the 3m element is supposed to be shifted slightly downwards on the plan so that some light comes in.

I took a look at it, our dressing room has a raw structural dimension of 2.38m and I could also do without 10cm in width, that would be okay, I would definitely do that in your position, because the space next to the bed would be too tight for me. I would add a door to the bedroom if you have teenagers who still watch action movies at night, you’ll be glad to have an extra door just for that reason alone. In the stairwell, I would of course position the window so that when standing on the landing you have a normally high parapet height, and then you can have the window higher towards the top, otherwise it gets much darker down in the hallway. In the small study you don’t necessarily need a double-wing window like that, I would rather install one that is 88.5cm wide, like the one in the dressing room, then you also have the same width twice. The seating area in the living room doesn’t get properly bright, especially when the sun isn’t shining. We have windows on two sides in the seating area; if I lower the shutter only on the window on one side, it already gets significantly darker, having no window at all would be too dark for me. I wouldn’t move the 3m window 80cm lower and then cover part of it with the sofa, that looks totally botched, as if you misplanned it. I’d rather make two smaller windows out of the large window and then place the sofa directly in front of them, alternatively maybe a narrow, long window above the sofa. Definitely, I would ensure more light; you might want to read something without artificial light sometimes. The kitchen is nice and large, but I would change the furnishing, there would be too little working space for me, I would rather plan an L-shape with a cooking island. I wouldn’t put the roof window on the front side of the house, it doesn’t look very nice.
Best regards
Sabine
