Wow wow wow. I wish our architect had sent us something that coherent. But with a square+hip roof, we probably limited him.

We have storage space under the stairs, and I wanted to fill only one wall in the kitchen with tall cabinets + place a large cooking island with drawers on the wall where the window is.
Therefore, I would like to keep the wardrobe and do without the pantry.
What do you think how wide the hallway would need to be at least so that it’s not too narrow? In the architect’s design, we even had only 1.8m. Then you could make the kitchen or utility room a bit wider?
The hallway could maybe be narrower and then gets bigger again near the stairs at the end anyway, or doesn’t it seem like that?

I’m probably getting on your nerves slowly, but could you please draw the ground floor with the wardrobe on the right and the guest WC with a built-in shower, so without the pantry + upstairs a solution with a walk-in closet? The walk-in closet solution would probably be yours as in post #5. Unfortunately, I can’t think of another one. 5-6 m of closet would be better than the current 4m.

I know that darling Kati likes to do that, but you can still manage that yourself with a printed copy and a marker line if you're embarrassed about it. Besides, there's already a walk-in closet, isn't there?!

That wasn't from me. I also believe that you now have enough tips and will manage the matter much faster yourself. The crucial thing is that you know what you want. Your architect can also draw it up. Graph paper is often enough.

Furthermore, I don't draw floor plans that I am not convinced of myself.

I get it! I'm also thinking about your floor plans! Having the pantry is not a bad idea at all. And sorry, you weren't #5.

You don’t have any ideas for the walk-in closet either? There is one, but maybe there’s another solution. It’s not like I haven’t already sketched something. But I really don’t know what else to do.

About the shower: I’m thinking about old age. Later, I could separate the living room into a bedroom and turn the dining area into a living room. And I could still shower downstairs. For when I can no longer climb stairs. What do you guys think about that?

Not thought through to the end. Should you really still live in the house in old age when you can no longer climb stairs?

The garden, the house can hardly be maintained anymore. Walking requires aids and the nursing service also comes every day. Barrier-free is not sufficient for seniors who can’t even go up the stairs once a day.
