In the guest bathroom, we have a window 1 x 0.76 (for privacy protection) and it is completely sufficient.

Even in this calculation, the tolerances are still missing (in dimension and angle and plumb!). Aside from the fact that the tail is really wagging the dog here when one cuts a wall to measure for a ready-made closet instead of the other way around, only yacht, motorhome, or airplane interior fitters can achieve such precision. You all severely underestimate the clumsy bear paws of the shell builders. In the entire libretto of house construction, the first precise tenor note sounds with the entry of the tiler; everything before that is done with the rough trowel.

Stamina to let Gisela keep topping up the Doornkaat, or stamina feeding the quirky-trollish OP?

On that, I say aquavittrocken nothing. But the pretzel sticks are all gone.

For an experienced mason, it’s a piece of cake to cover up your construction guideline dyslexia with a 202 instead of 201 wide window.

I don't know how much Gisela can drink, but each one alone is probably already an impressive feat. Both in parallel guarantees unmatched.

... at least if Gisela visits him regularly on the construction site ... including a bottle.

How many square meters is your guest room?
Many have, like Chris, a smaller window there for privacy reasons. You didn’t want that?

So you mostly stuck with 176/138 and 101/138 with the same sill height everywhere?

Behind the counter you don't have to be able to drink that much.

I don't even know if Gisela has ever gotten out of Grevenbroich in any significant way - maybe as far as Kamp-Lintfort ... or as far as Neukirchen-Vluyn ... dunno

The best privacy protection is no windows at all. Then you just have to carry the light in with sacks - but please jute instead of plastic!
