I can't get a photo from the guest WC window that shows more than just the window, it’s pointless. But I just measured, from the 1m wide window there are only 72-73cm of pure glass surface left, which isn’t much.
Wider windows than 1.76m we only have in the kitchen (but it’s divided into three parts) and a very large bay window, but that one can’t be opened. With very wide windows, you also have the disadvantage that the window sash, when opened, extends far into the room, which can also be annoying sometimes. By the way, I don’t think you’re overthinking it, I definitely fiddled with the floor plan for 6 months and thought about every measurement carefully. Since we built for the second time, I knew exactly what was important to me this time and what I absolutely wanted to do differently than before.
