I would always take the maximum number of windows as long as it fits the outside view. Privacy screens can be installed at any time, but enlarging windows afterwards is no longer possible.

I don’t know what is bad about the narrower windows, which from a minimum height of 150cm or higher, for example, are installed almost across the entire width. It looks very good and lets in a lot of light because the window is at the top. Similar here.

I have already been in houses where the upper area in various rooms all around just below the ceiling has narrow fixed glazing, it looks great. Even when the light shines in, there is a special effect. There are much worse "basement windows" in many kitchens where you need more light.

It's simple: You can't look outside. As you can see, there is also a side window in this room - otherwise it wouldn't be nearly as "nice".

Ok you are right. I will use this type of window sparingly. Instead of the typical kitchen window above the sink, I can well imagine something like that. So a strip of light. Is a sill height of 1.20m nice? Is that usually above the faucet? I can imagine a window 1.88m x 0.76m in the kitchen above the sink.

And one more question. Would you completely leave out the door from the hallway to the living area, or do you prefer to have it for noise protection, for example if the children are already asleep in the evening and you are watching TV downstairs or have guests? Otherwise, I would prefer to have the door open outwards into the hallway. Do you think the door opening towards the hallway looks strange? I am currently drawing for the architect.

The T solution should be removed. I want a built-in shower that does not require a door as a splash guard. Can you help me with a nice arrangement? Windows are also still variable.
