That's probably what it comes down to. But you don't see everything there either. I find window selection super difficult.

We are now removing the shower downstairs. Would you give the kitchen a few centimeters more depth by cutting off from the WC/wardrobe? Currently, it is 3.29m deep. The tall cabinet row will definitely be 60cm deep, the cooking island 1.20m deep. That leaves 1.49m between the island and tall cabinets. I would probably have to subtract a few centimeters of plaster. So let's say 1.45m. Is that okay for moving around? Does a window door 113/213 fit on the right between the island and tall cabinets? Or is that too tight? I'm afraid of banging the door against kitchen furniture. Is a 101/213 door better or too narrow?

Have you ever thought about a freestanding kitchen island without a row of cabinets on the left (when you enter the kitchen), so no door will hit it and you don’t have that pointless corner in the kitchen cabinets that you can’t really use anyway.

Best regards

I do like rare terms, but this one truly seems to come only from your personal secret language

I just mentally counted all my perverts from fifty-one years of life experience - the category "peeping neighbors specializing in staircases" is an empty set.

1. Position; 2. Dimension; done.

113 rough width is best - unless it were a "chive door" through which you never carry a tray.

How much do you want to stick to the current floor plan? I have the feeling that you are fixating too much on measurements and are now trying to make the floor plan work somehow by shifting things centimeter by centimeter, even though some things bother you (at least that's how it seems). What speaks against starting from scratch and trying something new/different? As I said, floor plans that suit your needs should be available from every house builder.

I think at some point you reach the point where you like the floor plan and it’s really only about centimeters now, or also window sizes, etc. It’s not a problem if you have already found a good layout.

What says. I already like the floor plan. I just want to optimize it as best as possible. I feel like I’m heading towards the home stretch. I’ve really taken a lot of tips and food for thought here. I will also show you the latest version when it’s available, to show that you didn’t take time for my concerns in vain. I’m just still thinking on the ground floor about what can be done with the wardrobe/WC/pantry and whether the kitchen should be deeper so that maybe stools can be placed at the cooking island. We’re still considering the upper floor. But we’ll get that done too. I’m willing to give up 20cm from the living room so that our parents’ area is right. I will also remove the T solution in the master bathroom.
