I have a friend with MS who is sometimes dependent on a wheelchair, my husband has a buddy who had a stroke. My father has hemiplegia. We renovated houses 3 times so that it works. After that, we wanted to avoid some things and took care ourselves. Hopefully, in 35/40 years, we will move into an apartment up on the mountain and enjoy old age with friends and acquaintances.

I am currently making a list for the architect with desired changes. In the master bathroom, he should swap the toilet bowl with the shower. Do you think a window with 176/126 is appropriate there?

In the children's bathroom, I want a built-in shower without glass, so completely open. As it is now, it splashes into the entrance area. Actually, it should face a wall, but there still has to be a window in the room... Do you have any ideas for the arrangement?

Is there enough daylight in the parents' bathroom at all? Does the person sit on the toilet bowl (current version) in the dark? Or, if I swap shower with toilet bowl: does one shower in the dark?

1x No, 2x Yes, I would say. The passages at the "T" appear very narrow. Does it have to be a "T"? Given the room width, I would rather arrange everything around the walls, bathtub in front of the window, then this space is used best. Window a bit bigger if there is not supposed to be a second window. Don’t know if someone can look inside from outside, then you might possibly choose frosted glass or something similar, and that reduces the light yield again.

Is it possible to include a storage room accessible from the kitchen + a small WC + a wardrobe in the latest draft? I can also imagine increasing the house width from 10.3m to 10.5m for that. Or does it look too cramped?

Maybe I overlooked it: But don’t you have any "budget constraints"? Three shower bathrooms, just expanding the house... Great if you have planned a large buffer. If not, I think you can also make a reasonable floor plan out of what is available – provided you give up one shower or even the kids' bathroom. Then maybe a space-saving staircase without a landing. It’s just that during the house construction many wishes come up or items were not planned. I have the impression that you are still going around in circles rather aimlessly. For example, regarding the width of the living room: have you already looked at the variants in a furnished house? Don’t cling to one number (whether 4.4 or 4.5). And if you can’t realize everything: make a priority list! Prefer a large kitchen or a large living room with a projector? Prefer a spacious bathroom with a great shower and tub or privacy from the children? It is important to be clear about this beforehand and not regret it afterward.
