and are right.
We are extremely capricious. And this is a guide to unhappiness. Yes.
But I can’t build anything if the gut feeling isn’t right and I don’t like it myself. We got lost and ended up with an architect who only drew. But there was no innovative input or questions when we planned something that doesn’t work. Maybe we expect too much.
This is now our latest version. Do you have any suggestions for improvement?
We have the shower downstairs because the space for a huge wardrobe seemed somehow too precious to waste. But somehow you have to use the space if you want a wide kitchen. The shower will be used from time to time anyway. Whether a huge wardrobe or a third shower. I think you don’t really need both. I have no better solution. The husband insists on a parent’s bathroom.
We removed the dressing room. By leaving the window there as it is, you or a future buyer can still put up a drywall if a wardrobe is necessary. We came to the conclusion that we don’t need it. That way we have enough space for the bed and a laptop desk in the bedroom. Although I don’t know if it’s weird to set up a workspace in the bedroom.
My concerns about this floor plan:
Is the whole house a huge waste of space? Do you need 18 or 19 sqm for the bedroom, do the kids need rooms that big? Or should you treat yourself to that if the budget allows?
And do you think the two side elements at the entrance seem poorly planned? Because one element doesn’t fit properly into the hallway, but ends about 20 cm short of the wall and somewhat into the wardrobe?
Do you think a floor plan with a staircase running straight from the entrance would work better for us?
Anyway, we have to come to a conclusion soon. The general contractor will shoot us to the moon soon, as 11ant already said.
