Thank you Good approaches! I will inquire again about the parapet height of the stairwell window. The problem is that a carport is planned next to the stairs... Therefore, the parapet height cannot be chosen freely. The TV corner and the lighting are totally difficult. So that it doesn’t look cluttered, we specifically want to block only the fixed glass element and not the doors. My husband thinks it then looks deliberate. We don’t like a light strip running across the sofa. Does anyone here maybe have an idea for this? Lots of people do block doors with sofas. You see that in many sample floor plans. But my husband simply doesn’t want that.

You can permanently glaze the window behind the sofa; it doesn't have to be an openable window.

No, I meant a single double-winged window behind the sofa and not a piece of a large window that is blocked by a sofa.
