I don’t want different heights. In the end, it should all be at the same height everywhere – at the moment, all windows are at the height of 2.13m... But never mind. I’m just asking about 2.20...

The development plan does not want it either: all the same all around - whether 213 or 220 is possible, but only for all windows of the house respectively.

Hi everyone, just for the sake of completeness: Our plans have now been updated. Unfortunately, the window proposal from 11ant did not work (that would have actually been 18 windows or so). The adjustment of the lintel also did not work – it remains 22cm for the roller shutter box and 20cm lintel. So windows start at a wall height of 2.13m.

We have now decided on
- 1.20 x 1.33m (parapet height 0.80) at the front and in the bathroom
- 1.20 x 1.60m (parapet height 0.50) on the south side and in the bedroom
- floor-to-ceiling 2m windows on the east side in the living room

The east side doesn’t look great from the outside, but I also have no other ideas left here – this will probably have to stay as it is. And yes, the north side doesn’t look great either, but we can live with it

That already looks quite decent. The single-wing windows are hung "the wrong way" (except for the one in the hobby room), the bathroom window is a landscape format, and the kitchen is too dark: either a window has to be placed by the stove or a skylight (daylight spot would not suffice) above it. In the bedroom, I still think that the door is inconveniently placed and I would enable a row of cupboards facing the kitchen >> move the door about 60 cm out of the corner.

If the municipality considers the current window proposal to be in the spirit of their regulation, then that’s good. My proposal also would not have been my first choice, but more of a clever workaround.

Here I'm stuck now: what exactly do you mean by "hung the wrong way round"? As far as I can see, they are correctly installed in portrait format. Also the bathroom — it's the same as in the rooms in the front...? Help me out, what exactly do you mean?

Phew, do you really think so — after all, that's actually only 2.5 meters of wall in the kitchen and then there are already the two 2-meter windows... if I now put another window into the kitchen, basically the entire east front would be full of windows and might possibly have more window surface than facade... I'd have to calculate that. What are the experiences here otherwise? Is it urgently necessary to add a window or will it be sufficient with the two terrace windows?

One more question regarding the utility room: because we have now still installed a guest WC here, the utility room is only about 10 sqm. What are your experiences here? Is that enough for technology, laundry, sports gear, work clothes, possibly vacuum cleaner & co.?

Kitchen, I don't see it as that critical, it's okay. The roof is too massive for a bungalow for me, try with a 30-degree pitch, possibly the gable ends with 40. It really looks sleeker.
