Thanks and for your contributions. I’m glad you shared your perspective with me.
I’m just terribly afraid of planning something completely wrong because I overlooked something, since I have no clue about all this building plan stuff. That’s why I absorbed so many answers here and also quickly got unsettled. Like a weather vane, I turned back and forth. Then we got sidetracked in between. The gut feeling was never right.
And as recognized here, we needed almost 135 pages to almost return to the version of #1. But for me, it’s now an optimized version I feel very comfortable with. For example, I’m very happy how the windows have changed.
I will now also finish the topic of floor plan planning and it feels like a burden is lifted from me.
I really do have a problem making decisions and am perfectionistic. Unfortunately, before the house planning story, I made a wrong decision in another area of my life, so I was extremely afraid of making another wrong decision. But it fits now for me. I think with this floor plan I’m not doing anything fundamentally wrong and that I will be happy there.
Thanks for your kind posts. I’m looking forward (seriously) to the kitchen planning now and hope that I’ll bring more confidence to it.
You can do it!
