1m is not as wide as you think... rather quite narrow. If the sofa is placed in front of it, only a small slit remains, to put it exaggeratedly...
And 2m is also not that wide.

In our case, the central controlled residential ventilation on the upper floor was installed in the floor, specifically in the screed. As a result, you don’t have less ceiling height.
You just have to make sure that the minimum coverage with screed is still given. I can’t tell you the exact value right now.

The 2.55m ceiling height in the large living room would be too low for me, have you ever seen that with the room size?

I believe that's a matter of taste. We now have a height of 2.50 with a similar room size and find that completely comfortable.

yes, I know, everyone perceives that differently. That’s why just the suggestion to pay attention to it and then see if it suits you. For a spacious feeling, not only the square meter area but also the room height matters.

For us, for example, the most expensive apartments are from the [Gründerzeit]. With their typical high ceilings. I don't like that at all, for example.
