I mean the house seller. She also calls herself a house planner and made the preliminary draft and has now handed it over to the architect.
And yes, he is just a draftsman and draws what he is told, without his own ideas.
We cannot afford a freelance architect. Basically, thanks to you all, we at least know what we want and what is important, even if I don’t take everything into account.
We have 2.20m rough construction measurement here. From the floor to the top edge.
These 213 are rough construction measurements, at least that’s how I understand it. In the catalog, the floor plans show, for example, 1.76/2.13 at the windows. And see my first post #1. It’s also like that in the floor plan. What does that mean? That 2.13 is actually higher?
It was the same for us.
The architect was very unmotivated. In hindsight, it might have been better to hire a freelance architect if you have no idea at all. But the forum here also helped a lot. Sometimes you have your (not always optimal) ideas, which probably only a great floor plan from a good architect can break up...
So in our plan, it was a rough construction measurement of 2.38 for the floor-to-ceiling windows, measured from the top edge of the slab. So we had to subtract the floor buildup of 15.5, so now we have about 2.22 "visible" window opening in height. It should not be less.
