No one knows your habits like you do. Therefore, the topic of electrical installations should be your responsibility. However, this does not mean that you may not tap into the experience of others.

When it comes to electrical installations, don’t forget network planning. Once for stationary devices like the TV and additionally for the WLAN access points for mobile devices.

Interesting that this suggestion to raise the 2.55 has existed for ages and now there is a separate thread about it

Curly has already put it up here a few times. I know that. I'm not stupid. I don't find the 2.55m restrictive either. I'm interested in what most people are probably building/the trend and also the resale value. Not all users are reading here either. I also want to reach other users. Is it now forbidden to start a new thread about this? Thanks for your input on this.

I've said it a few times already (take it literally, I find your questions completely fine) do it the way you think is good. We currently have a combined living/dining/kitchen area (all open) of
Our ceiling height is 2.50m and the open space is about 61sqm. We don't find it restrictive at all.

I just want to say that in my opinion it is too late for this decision .... costs, other things would have to be changed as well and then are forgotten .... dangerous.

Absolutely. Ceiling height is an essential, on which the stair length depends, and with this domino effect the whole discussion almost turns back to the beginning. After a thousand posts, in my opinion, one should no longer think about banana or strawberry milk glass in the bathroom (I was scolded in another thread for cocoa), but finally focus on the "start button." They say, "the first house is built for an enemy" - not "the first house is built to make the general contractor your enemy."
