On which page is your current plan? We used to have a study about 2.20m x 4m and that was completely sufficient. Which windows are you talking about? Best regards Sabine

I think I am causing too much confusion here. I am expecting the new floor plan next week. It’s best to talk about the windows afterwards.

I will use the weekend to get familiar with wardrobe systems.

Thanks for the info regarding the office room size.
I would just put shelves about 40cm deep along one wall. Opposite, a desk. I could make sure that it’s not too deep. Maybe 50-60cm. And if there's a 1.2m passage between, it will probably be enough.

If it is a screen workstation, that won't be enough. It should be at least 75 cm so that you can maintain the ergonomic distance. On the other hand, if it is just a single workstation, a 1 m passage is more than sufficient.

How would you arrange the furniture?
I'm specifically concerned about the office window. It is 1.51/1.26, two-leaf, and I'm wondering if it is too big.

The office is about 3.4m long and 2.3m wide on the window side.
The living room is about 4.05m long and 3.3m wide.

Would you distribute the space differently?
Well, I think I'm a bit crazy, but I'm afraid I won't find a sofa for the 3.3m. I need a cozy one on which really 4 people enjoy sitting. Right now I'm convincing myself that when the time comes, I'll find a dream sofa that is 3.4m wide and then doesn't fit in the living room.

I'm probably going to get scolded by 11fant again soon.

Yes, don’t forget to have them give you the views.

A 1.51m wide and only 1.26m high window is definitely not big. In our 10sqm study the window is 1.76m x 1.38m and that seems quite normal in size. The measurement does not represent the pure window area, the frame takes up a large part of it. Personally, the living room would be too small for me, I would rather swap it with the kitchen. Best regards Sabine
