Yes, that should be enough. We have the same window dimensions, the window is in the west. It is bright enough during the day without turning on the ceiling light.

My husband didn't want a large window in the guest bathroom. Although it's for guests, we will be using it ourselves constantly. I won't go upstairs especially if I'm on the ground floor.
But I don't need the light there for makeup. Only for washing hands and using the toilet.
The window is facing northwest for us.
Does frosted glass make the window much darker?

And we have planned a 2m terrace door with a hinged wing. Is it worth making a lift-and-slide door from a 2m width or would the passage then be too small? From what size do sliding doors make sense?

I think sliding doors only make sense from 2.5m (or rather 3m) onwards. With 2m, you slide one panel in front of the other. Thus, the passage is only 1m wide. That wouldn't be worth the extra cost for me. Rather consider a [Stulpfenster]; when you open both sashes, you have a 2m passage.

For our 4m sliding door, the opening width is 1.79m. And that is without a gap that prevents finger pinching. That would cost a few more centimeters. You can figure out how much is left with 2m...

Exactly, [stulpenfenster] is currently planned. Then we'll probably leave it as it is. I should have thought about it beforehand.

Honestly, what is wrong with me? I always regret everything or wish I had done it differently after I've planned it. My husband already says that you simply can't build a house with me. Our general contractor will probably shoot us to the moon soon anyway. We can't really change anything anymore. And I can hardly sleep because I keep pondering our windows and window sizes. That's totally messed up. We were only advised by the house planner at the beginning to choose small windows. 76cm and 88cm wide for single-sash and 1.51m and 1.76m wide for double-sash. It already seemed very bold to us to choose 1m and 2m wide windows. And those aren't even big windows. Now I'm afraid that it will be really boring and too little light. Oh man. Also, I now somewhat regret not having planned a sliding door. It seemed kind of too modern for us because we didn't know it. We planned a lot of things just as we knew them and couldn't get out of our skin. And now it's done.

With our floor plan, we probably wouldn't have been able to get a reasonable width anyway.
