a 1.51m by only 1.26m high window is definitely not big. In our 10sqm study, the window is 1.76m x 1.38m and that looks quite normal in size. The measurement does not represent the pure window area, the frame takes up a large part of it.
Personally, the living room would be too small for me, I would rather swap it with the kitchen.

We have a 1.76 x 1.38 window in the living room and it is sufficient there. In the office, we have smaller ones. So totally sufficient...

Once again regarding the window heights: We have a rough construction height of 2.77 m on the ground floor, which results in about 2.6 m clear height: The height of the floor-to-ceiling windows is 2.405 m. The sill windows have a sill height of 1.02 m and a height of 1.385 m. Theoretically, it could have been higher, but then the lintel would have to be in the intermediate ceiling. As it is now, it is below. OK, the windows are therefore at about 2.22 m, then there is the (not visible) plaster roller shutter box of about 25 cm and then the lintel about 13 cm, so about 38 cm wall above the window. We find that OK. I would not take deeper windows. Door heights on the ground floor have been increased to 2.11 m. On the upper floor they were left at 2 m.
