If the wardrobe according to the dimensions that has specified (and I always use as well) is to fit into the room, then you would have to do it something like this:

    [*]Move the bedroom door slightly
[*]Window evenly wide, about 88 to 90 cm and redistribute so that the wardrobe fits at the bottom of the plan.
[*]Bed size now for mattress 180x200 approximately 190x210

Hello,

I also think that it will be too tight as planned.

However, without knowing the overall floor plan of the level, I can't think of a reasonable alternative.

It would be worth considering whether to leave out the wall separating the sleeping and dressing areas and then either use a floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe as a room divider – that way you would at least gain the 11cm wall thickness – or place the wardrobes and the bed completely differently in the room.

Regards,

Dirk

It could be adjusted as suggested by or the wall above the bed could be moved up slightly and only one wardrobe wall planned. This would be 4.90 meters long. This would also create space for the passage at the bottom of the plan. However, I don't know what else is hidden on the left, as there is still a passage there, possibly to the bathroom.

Hi,

sorry for the late reply. We were out all weekend. I quite like the suggestion from kbt. Attached is the complete upper floor. Changes are still possible in the sense that we can still move walls. However, due to the platform staircase, the whole floor plan is somewhat predetermined. This means: the platform staircase must stay in that spot. The rest is purely theoretically variable.

On the north side is the bathroom together with the dressing room. We did this consciously because there is also a street there and we did not necessarily want to sleep on that side.

We made the loggia in the office for 2 reasons

a) exterior appearance
b) bright office with a usable balcony. Later it is supposed to become a children's room.

I also don’t find the bathroom quite optimal (please do NOT pay attention to the sanitary fixtures, that is just an example from the planner, we will definitely NOT do it like that). We will place the bathtub in front of the light strip. A wall at the front, so that the shower will be positioned in the left corner and we will move the window a bit. Sinks will be positioned opposite the light strip (so when you enter on the left) and the toilet top right in the corner. The laundry chute is bottom right.

I’m looking forward to feedback

Oh, and no, we are not building with Ytong but with Poroton. Single-layer 36.5 cm masonry. And we are building a flat roof, so no sloping ceilings. The plan was actually an open system in the dressing room. If at all, only a wardrobe on one side, the other side open.

Are you sure you want two doors in the bathroom?

The disadvantage is that you always have to lock both doors if you want some privacy. Remembering to unlock both doors again, of course, also belongs to that. I would make the bathroom accessible only from the hallway.

I would place the door of the children's room closer to the stairs, so that a 60 cm wardrobe would still fit behind it.
