That probably always depends on the builder. And every architect probably has their own views – one plans rather modern, another classical. In the end, you have to know for yourself what you want.
I believe 3D models are only available from the very high-priced providers, Viebrockhaus etc.

I think we were simply too set in our limitations – privacy screens, furnishing, etc. We weren’t open to possibilities the architect could have offered us. And as I said, back then I thought our window positioning/selection was great and wouldn’t have guessed that in the end it might not be that great or wouldn’t look quite as nice in reality. Since I had no doubts, I didn’t want/need any advice from the architect in that regard. Now I’m wiser and would explore more options in the next build and maybe not be so set in my ways.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

And we don’t have any 3d views with us.
We originally planned the windows very differently and smaller. I’m glad the windows are bigger now. Otherwise, we would have regretted it.

Do you think a hallway about 1.6m wide is enough if no furniture is placed in the hallway anymore? We now have the cloakroom niche.

We have about 1.5m and it is more than sufficient.

so even our smallest BUs have a program with 3D view! Something like that is no longer a luxury nowadays but standard I don’t spend hundreds of thousands of euros on a construction project without proper views!!!

That’s how it should actually be! When we planned two years ago, it was indeed the exception, only with the expensive providers. Maybe you could have gotten something like that for an extra charge. But with us, the architects’ hours also cost extra.

And still, I doubt that you can decide with a 3D simulation whether the windows fit or not; in reality, everything looks different again.
