So why not also make a sliding door for the 3m element in the living room? It only brings advantages.. The opening is where the dining table is.

Symmetry is about as important as a piano An island doesn't need a dishwasher - that can also be located on the mainland - but two mountains as well as tunnels and tracks for railway traffic Since signatures don't reach all forum users, the OP should make it a habit to mention the post number of the currently valid design as the constant last sentence of every post Complex textual explanations of outdated, incompletely fiddled-with drawings don't improve the overview :-(

I’m still waiting for new drawings. But the ground floor will look like this.
Only, the utility room door and the WC door still need to be moved so that I have a wardrobe option between the doors, and I’m checking if the storage room under the stairs can be accessed through the kitchen.

Phew, what exactly do you want to move there? It’s not possible in the WC and not in the utility room either – or am I seeing that wrong? Moving 2 cm won’t help at all. Two hooks already fit there now.
The only possible place I see for a wardrobe is the wall to the living room. Then you’d have to shift the passage to the kitchen/dining area (no idea whether it’s a sliding door, a regular door, or open) slightly to the left on the plan. Or alternatively, move the front door further to the left on the plan and put hooks and possibly a shoe rack on the wall behind it. But in my opinion, these are all makeshift solutions that could be avoided with a new build.

Edit: I’ll practice quoting again.

Ok, I will remember the contribution number and not write any text explanations about old plans. Nobody enjoys that anyway.

I think an office makes sense. I have the possibility to do some home office at work and there is an overnight accommodation.
I find it a shame to use the space for a large wardrobe.
Of course, the objects in the WC and utility room would have to be arranged differently to make that work.
Not everyone who builds a house has a dressing room. It would be nice to have. But I can't have everything.

Until the kids come back from daycare, you have the chill corner with the laptop to yourself, then you only need the study for folders and the briefcase. Accordingly, it can make space for the wardrobe.
