Maybe it comforts you: I also find many things very hard to decide and need days to commit to a shower tray or sink, only to shortly afterwards throw it all over again

That is comforting.
Are you making your house smart?
What percentage of new builds install KNX or other wired systems? Are there any estimates?

We only equip the roller shutters so that we can control them via phone. KNX can surely do a lot of cool things, but then you have to think it all through carefully and plan it, and you also need someone who programs everything (or you can do it yourself). Although my husband is very tech-savvy, KNX is too much for him, so it seems unnecessary to us.

Why is the stair window 88.5 cm wide and does not have a roller shutter? Do you have an exterior view of it?

Best regards

Because it is fixed glazing and 3.13m high. I can never clean roller shutters. Also, it was said that roller shutters are not possible there because it is a floor-spanning window. But I don’t really understand why that should be the case.
I plan to use frosted or milk glass anyway. And regarding burglary protection, I probably don’t need roller shutters there. Or what do you say? Did I overlook something?

The window is 88.5cm wide because we can well imagine that for a narrow staircase. In the east and west we plan according to preference and not for symmetry.

The window starts as early as possible from the landing and goes almost to the ceiling.
Outside, next to the window will be our carport.

This is what the views that are important to us look like. Front and garden side.
