Floor plan optimization city villa + fill consideration

If the utility room becomes too small, one could perhaps place the washing machine + dryer in the family bathroom, or is that too dangerous on the upper floor in case of water damage?

Symmetry can definitely be achieved. However, the door does not necessarily have to be centered for that. The staircase is a bit narrower for me than in the architect's design. I actually think 2.20m is quite good; your architect had 2.36m. If every centimeter counts, I find that excessive.

What worries me are the closet meters in the dressing room or the lack thereof. There are only 4m in total in the last draft. And there is no additional storage space anywhere. No sideboard - nothing. Everything planned and so tight that there is barely enough room for walking paths. Where is all the bedding supposed to go? Jackets, coats, suits, socks. So I would almost need the 4m just for myself. My husband would have to go naked.

I read yesterday that the dressing room can be omitted. It was here, wasn't it?

If in the bathroom, then integrate a floor drain there just in case. Or very close to a level-access shower with a slope towards it. Of course, then you have the spin cycle noise on the living level.

Yes, although I wouldn't know how to get more storage space here if direct access to the shower is to remain. Or back to #5 after all? I also thought that one was okay.
