I'm currently at a loss, where and how much do you need to fill/replace soil? Are there any current photos of the property, is there a site plan? Are the cuts from #1 current? 190 pages is a bit much to go through
The basement is off the table. The excavation work is very expensive. They wanted to make the high amount understandable to us.
So things are moving forward.
I have another question again.
Regarding electrical planning, one should know where the furniture will be placed. I know that. Often different than shown in the floor plan.
Do you ask the architect to correctly draw the furniture positions in the floor plan regarding the furniture, or is that my problem and I should use Tipp-Ex on the floor plan and then draw the furniture correctly for myself?
The best approach is to put the floor plan empty with only the external dimensions on a DIN A4 or A3 sheet, and make several copies. Then cut out your furniture to scale of the empty floor plan, preferably as small pieces of paper/cardboard (with a small text/letter on them) and first move them back and forth on the floor plan. If you like a layout .. take a photo of it, then keep moving to test what else works.
Yes, that’s actually how I did it already. For the electrical planning, should I then pass on my custom version? So the official floor plan is allowed to have the furniture "wrong"? For example, we want to rotate the dining table by 90 degrees. This is important for correctly positioning the lamps above the dining table, as we want 2 ceiling outlets for pendant lamps.
Our electrician has already discussed that he will walk through the shell construction with us and then everything will be marked on the walls. That way, you can also visualize it concretely and imagine everything.
