You build a house for several 100,000 euros only to clutter the entrance area with jackets and shoes?
You can fit a desk with a docking station for laptop and monitor in almost any room.

Your mistake was deleting the first line when inserting the quote again. It says QUOTE="username, post: number, member: member number". Without this "QUOTE" (quote command) at the front – but with the "/QUOTE" (end quote command) at the back, it naturally looks strange. But "content-wise" it already worked out.

I wouldn't want to do without an office anymore. Even if I had enough options upstairs. It's nice to have most things on one level. We even have a couch in there where you can sit down. I would do that again anytime.

What are the dimensions of your office?

I can't imagine having a desk in the living area for myself. Besides, it's practical to leave documents out without the living area looking messy. For example, when doing the tax return. I rather find it a pity to spend so much money on a wardrobe. I only plan to store a few jackets and shoes in the hallway. Instead of an office, a wardrobe room is intense. It's 4m long. I also want to put a sofa bed in the office.

As a layperson, I'll briefly say: too little space at the entrance by the wardrobe is a stress factor of 10. I had that in my apartment. Hardly any space for jackets and shoes, let alone space to put them on right there. This led to me always carrying jackets into the kitchen. There, I also took off my shoes, and my wardrobe was practically spread throughout the entire apartment. In the best-case scenario, the wardrobe still has space to sit down briefly or lean against it – for putting on shoes.

Yes, you are totally right. Having no wardrobe option at all is terrible. Would you carve out a niche from the guest room/office, or do you think that would ruin the guest room/office?
