Tell me, do you know any good sample floor plans that don't waste much space?

Of course, there are some good designs that are also suitable for your fairly simple plot. But to repeat: the problem is that your wishes cannot be realized on this area or max 10 meters width without other disadvantages arising. The upper floor collapses if you want to integrate, in addition to three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a dressing room, and a laundry room. Without it being your wish, a problem is the lack of storage space. I personally advise changing the external dimensions to 9 x 11.5 and rethinking the use of the bathrooms with corresponding reduction of space-consuming extras. Maybe you also need to reflect yourself that a house is not just a collection of nice-to-haves, but a collection of functioning elements. As has already mentioned, I have to agree that many here have been really spoiled by staged Pinterest photos showing excerpts from large architect-designed houses, suggesting to builders that nothing else is being built anymore. In the process, the view of one’s own plot, budget, and needs gets lost. Viewed soberly, it becomes boring. I am now signing off from this thread as working with unrealistic wishes is no fun for me.

Can you please name them? We would forego the dressing room and the washing machine upstairs. That helps already, doesn't it? I would also arrange the children's room to the west for a good floor plan. The only thing I'm really attached to, however, are the 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers on the upper floor.

And I also have to say. After I went through 2 catalogs completely yesterday. What we set in motion was not bad at all. We just want too much. And I realized that the very first architectural draft was actually the best and we would have had to change very little. And what do we know about the listed demanding users? Was there a happy ending for all of them?

The poor sinner is always welcome on the right path. I don't recall any reunions regarding the listed users in the house pictures thread. But also demanding (and high up on the list) was , whom we did see again there. Slightly less demanding was – it was more the drywall enclosures of several pipes that challenged his trust in a build without execution drawings.

So I will go back to the original draft. I will leave the arrangement as it is above. How wide does the passage in the dressing room need to be at minimum? Is 1m enough? That way I can also get more space to the right and left of the bed than in the last drafts. If I go back to the original staircase instead of the landing staircase, I can also manage the wardrobe niche. Then it fits and actually all wishes are accommodated. But I will still swap living room and kitchen. A 3.30m x 4m chill area is not too small. In return, I can realize a great kitchen with seating. We actually spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We cook a lot ourselves, my daughter is constantly standing on the learning tower in the kitchen snacking, we are constantly drinking coffee. If you place 2 comfortable chairs and no uncomfortable stools at the peninsula, I am sure that more often someone will sit there than on the sofa...
