The slope was initially cut into but you did not address it. It must be an urban villa, it will be filled in.

I don’t know if a new application is needed for this, but the ground floor and the upper floor can and should be planned differently. The floor area could become smaller.

That was discussed with the general contractor/architect from the very beginning. No one advised us to build a basement.

Do you know if a new building application is needed? We just didn't need a basement and didn't want to sit below street level. Therefore, embankment was decided. Ancillary costs such as earthworks were also estimated by the general contractor in advance. I don't know why they are coming up with this so late now. Meanwhile, they are building their fourth house there. Maybe they have new insights.
