We are building according to the Energy Saving Ordinance. Can you actually still achieve a KfW standard, for example through controlled residential ventilation, or do you really only reach the KfW standards through targeted planning?
The wall structure is, as @11ant suspected, built with a monolithic wall of 36.5 cm aerated concrete plan blocks in thin-bed mortar.
Our general contractor specified a wall structure of 44 cm in the construction performance description. With a different structure, I could have a few more square meters with the same exterior dimensions.
Some say that KfW is “just” clever bookkeeping.. as far as I know, a controlled residential ventilation system is mandatory for some KfW standards.
Sorry to ask if this has already been discussed here, but which heating method (system) have you decided on? We will also plan for a central controlled residential ventilation system.
