Well, the architect has to be good for something too. Thank you! Rectangular was expressed incorrectly. I meant that this small entrance/hallway into the right children's room bothers me. But yes, I really have a quirk there. Otherwise, you can’t steal the square meters from the children and it benefits the other rooms, which would otherwise be too small.

Do you think a living room width of 4.4m is enough? My husband insists on 4.5m. The sofa should be placed in the middle of the room. We are thinking of a 2.8m long sofa.

Pantry and shower bath downstairs? I must have landed in the wrong thread and only responded to the last posts. Was this already discussed - and when? Which post is now relevant for the planning? Katja’s plan seemed so good to me, that’s why I replied to it. On the last pages there was nothing about pantry or shower bath on the ground floor or I just can’t find it. It would really be nice if the latest plans are brought back into the thread.
