Can one of you take a photo of a window with these dimensions?

Do you find a 1m wide window, for example 138 or 126 long, too big for the guest room? The guest toilet is about 2 sqm in size.

What kind of sill heights do you have and above all, are they the same height throughout the house? For example, office or guest toilet. I find this window topic more difficult than the room layout.

We are laying wooden flooring in the hallway. Then you can do without skirting boards and you don't have to account for the space for them. Platsa is officially not a built-in cabinet, but we will use it for a long time. In case of wear, you can also replace the doors if necessary.

How does that look? Is it too high or would you do it like that again?

I meant guest WC, not guest room.

I think it's a matter of taste. The top edge of the windowsill is at about 89 cm. Our couch is in the living room in front of it, so I find it okay there. The backrest is quite high, ~90 cm, so it fits quite well. But if you pull the couch slightly away from the wall, a lower parapet can also look nice. However, I think I wouldn't go lower than one grid of 12.5 cm. In some cases, it also makes sense to have an even lower parapet when you want to place flowers and don't want a floor-to-ceiling window, but that depends on the situation-

I am now waiting for the floor plan and will then take another look at the windows.

Could you photograph a 1.76/1.38 window?

Our guest WC window is 1m wide, that is not too big. For us, simply 4 rows of bricks were built, resulting in about 1m height, then the floor structure, the window sill, and we have exactly 90cm finished parapet height. Since you don't have high ceilings, you should choose a low parapet height (not higher than 90cm finished height), because otherwise your windows cannot be tall.

Best regards
Sabine
