For statements about companies that may need to prove their legal validity, there is a moderated section. Generally, just mentioning the name of a company you recommend is unproblematic and possible everywhere. I myself could not sensibly name our former suppliers here, as they all do not supply end customers. We had some in Poland and Slovakia that were recommendable, and in the wood sector, to my knowledge, you can find good ones in Austria (with whom we had no business relations, but who, as far as I know, also supply end customers, although no names come to mind at the moment – perhaps I have already shared my two cents on this in relevant threads).

Ours supplies end customers. The boss comes and measures himself before the order. The company also has a location in Germany. Therefore, you only pay 19% and not 23% VAT. The shop is called Labradoor and we visited them in Szczecin.

Thanks for the info! I think the name has already come up here. Unfortunately, the homepage is only in Polish, I don’t understand anything. How do you get price information if you don’t live nearby (and don’t speak Polish)?

My "do-it-all" craftsman installed dormer windows for me, and the price was so low (including installation) that I rubbed my eyes in surprise and wanted to research what he might have paid for the windows. So far, the windows make quite a good impression, which shouldn’t really be the case at that price.

Without Polish it will be difficult. You can try calling there and hope someone speaks German. We are both native Poles, so no problem.

As for the prices, it depends on the door and they vary all the time. This was also confirmed on site. About 6 months ago, prices were changing almost weekly.

They sell different brands. Cheap ones like Dre for example up to the ones we chose. Entrance door brand Parmax Interior doors brand Inter Door.

I didn’t even know what all you could install on entrance doors. From fingerprint to app-controlled opening and a so-called night-day function so that the door does not close automatically when it shuts.

You can also order roller shutters including Somfy, window sills, and windows there.

We also ordered a Parmax door. From the X-Factor collection. It is a wooden door with a highly insulated core, flush-mounted glass panels on the right and left, fingerprint, GU A-Opener servo...
But what I have to say – good quality "made in Poland" also costs a lot of money. According to the list price, the door costs around €10k!!! Since we reserved a display model, we are paying "only" 50% (+ delivery and installation).

Does the name Aliplast mean anything to you? It is a Belgian aluminum profile manufacturer. We have now received a (I think good) offer based on Aliplast profiles. The difference to Kömmerling plastic is not even €2k.

I don’t know the manufacturer right now, but our Tom, who got kicked out four times (now called Ybias78 again in the green forum), buys from the manufacturer in Poland (he also masters the language). If you know where to get good quality there, you can do that (our suppliers never sold to end customers). Yes, it rings a bell, and I would consider it recommendable. Several good white-label manufacturers are located in Benelux.
