Yes, you are right. A 1m door was planned there.

What do you think about the fact that the landing staircase is not flush with the hallway but slightly recessed? It is 60cm. In all the floor plans I have gone through, it always looks different. Do you think it looks inconsistent? I wouldn't know how to change that.

If I take even more away from the utility room, there will soon be nothing left of it.

I would not enclose the stairs at all and would rather put a cabinet underneath to maintain more openness. If it absolutely has to be done, I would make the storage room accessible from the kitchen and additionally place a cabinet in the hallway.

No - the last drawing (in post #430) before your question showed a double-leaf door, estimated 151. Why don't you simply set guidelines once and then let the professionals do their work after the comma, instead of constantly training to be number 1 in the world rankings of unbearable co-drivers?

Sorry, what do you mean by that?
It’s not about cm now. I could have saved that. I just don’t know if it’s done like in our floor plan or if it looks weird. I’ve become a bit blind to the floor plan.

But the idea of a nice dresser or cabinet is a good one. I can’t do without the storage room.

Well, that you provide the basic framework: which rooms are upstairs, which rooms are downstairs, no downpipe next to the sofa, done. And then let the people handle all the little details – without constantly pulling on their jacket tails! – who on average manage to get a client family’s construction "under roof and sealed" every week. Free yourself from the delusion that you have to pay for every detail that hasn’t been sieved seven times for the rest of your life. You won’t be living in the same house in sixty years – you’re more likely not to see this Christmas anymore, crushed by the painter or electrician. I already see your tiles and extractor hood reaching a total of seven hundred posts.

I also don't know why I'm so picky. Hard to let go of.

What do you think about the current site plan? I find the positioning difficult. We are right in the middle of the curve. It currently looks like this. A 3.3x9m carport is drawn in. Do you have any tips for the positioning? I don’t know how it’s usually done. But from the street view, it looks strange, doesn’t it?

On the east side, we cannot step out from the living room due to the height difference. We had planned 2 French doors and a glass element in the dining area and TV corner, altogether 3.01/2.13. Doors don’t make sense if you can’t step out. So now we want a floor-to-ceiling window element. Do you have suggestions about what size would be suitable? The same size as a large glass pane is too much, I think.
