Still don't understand what you want with the 3rd shower. The wardrobe is really not big enough for 4 people. Otherwise, the floor plan looks quite reasonable. In the large bathroom upstairs, the only thing that bothers me is that you walk into the bathtub when entering. Could it be rotated?

Yes, the tub bothers me too. It should be turned. The wardrobe is sufficient. If we extend it, I would be concerned that there would be too little light.

what I don’t quite understand is why you are planning such a large bathroom for the children? My children only bathed about 1-2 times a week until they were about 5 years old, after that never again. Also, you don’t need two sinks for the children since they will never be in the bathroom together, except maybe as toddlers. When they are older, they should theoretically clean the bathroom themselves, which would be difficult to enforce with such a large bathroom. You won’t be able to use the bathtub in the children's bathroom anyway, unless you clean the bathroom regularly for the children. In the hallway, it would bother me that I can’t see who rang the doorbell and is standing there because there is no window. So I would plan for a window or a fixed glass element next to the front door. In the kitchen, I would prefer a window directly at the cooking island, it brings light directly onto the countertop. Best regards Sabine

That's not true. My brother and I had a kids' bathroom with two sinks, and that was good because we were often in the bathroom at the same time (e.g., getting ready for school in the morning). That way, everyone could leave their stuff around, and it was clear who had to clean what.

I see this bathroom more as a family bathroom and not purely a children's bathroom. We try to make everything as low-maintenance as possible, e.g. no joints, lots of flush-mounted installations, etc. We also sometimes use the bathtub there. The small shower bathroom is enough for us. Having the bathtub felt wrong.

The front door has no element because the symmetry would not allow it. The view looks good now. You would have to take side panels on the right and left, but then one would protrude into the wardrobe against the wall. I thought that looked poorly planned. I still want the front door to open differently.

Regarding ringing and not being able to see: I think you can work with a video camera.

Yes, I thought so too. Everyone then has their own sink with their stuff. They are also not 2 years apart. Maybe they will tolerate each other while brushing their teeth in the bathroom.
