I think I will also buy the SX778D01TE, the best offer for Austria is currently around 860 Euros including freight shipping. I prefer to avoid all the tinkering with Behjälplig or Stefanmethode and just buy a suitable device right away. I just have to pay about 200 Euros more than the device I originally selected, but then everything fits. And Siemens customer service also assured me that this device will fit the Ikea kitchen.

Before I deal with the topic "how to upload pictures here," I just want to quickly say that everything will fit. The plinth height fits perfectly. When attaching the front, it depends on whether you have a one-piece or multi-piece front. Of course, we have a 3-piece one
First, the individual parts had to be connected...
With the one-piece it is quite easy, as everything is well described, and my husband watched a video based on the barcode printed on a template. With our 3-piece one, it is a bit more complicated but doable.

PS: after our test run yesterday, I found that I have never taken such dry dishes out of a dishwasher. And they were lukewarm immediately after opening. The operation and initial setting were also very easy. So the appliance is really great.

I think we should crown the SX778D01TE as the best recommended dishwasher for the Metod kitchen. So that others don't have to conduct various investigations for as long as we did but can be given a model right away that fits without any problems (except for split fronts) and whose owners are satisfied with the washing performance of this device. best regards Section head
